About The Position

Provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care to clients who need extra support, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Caregivers support clients and their families through consistent, thoughtful assistance. ComForCare states that caregivers are treated with respect and dignity, receive regular and ongoing training, have access to support while in the field, and are thoughtfully matched with compatible clients. The position involves assignments in clients’ homes, with local assignments available when possible. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• A strong desire to help and support others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to care.
• Dependable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
• Reliable, dependable, kind, compassionate, trustworthy, responsible, professional, and respectful personal qualities.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and movement within the home.
• Support personal care and hygiene needs.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with daily household routines and activities.
