About The Position
The Patient Care Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The role is performed under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Requirements
- Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
Responsibilities

- Provide basic nursing care to patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
