Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • SRNA or CNA Required
  • Current BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills
  • Exercises sound judgment and decisive decision‑making
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of working effectively in a fast‑paced, stressful environment
  • Takes appropriate action in urgent or high‑pressure situations

Nice To Haves

  • PCA/DCA Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists in assuring optimal patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Provides direct patient care
  • Completes specific documentation in the patient’s medical record
  • Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance activities
  • Communicates appropriate information intra‑departmentally and inter‑departmentally
  • Assists with staff education and participates in continuing education for personal and professional development
  • Applies knowledge of age‑related factors when caring for patients, following established policies and procedures
