About The Position

The Patient Care Aide works under the direction of an RN or LPN, providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The role requires the ability to work with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, organize and set priorities, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. This is a PRN night position at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Education preferred: high school diploma or GED.
• Must have completed at least one of the following: the first quarter or semester of clinicals as a nursing student enrolled in an accredited college; at least six months of previous work as a patient care aide; the PCA Trainee class; or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) status at hire.
• BLS certification is required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
