About The Position
This role involves remaining at the bedside of an assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. The Patient Attendant will assist in calming and/or reorienting patients experiencing agitation or confusion. Responsibilities also include removing visible hazards and/or broken equipment from the immediate environment and reporting them as appropriate, as well as recording all observations.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities

- Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
- Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.
- Record all observations.
