Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Checks patients and families in upon arrival.
- Orients patients, families and visitors to Surgery Waiting and Cardiac Short Stay waiting areas.
- Receives calls from procedural staff to escort patients and visitors to pre and post-op areas when requested.
- Receives calls from procedural staff regarding patient updates and communicates all information with patients designated visitors in the waiting area.
- Receives calls from physicians regarding post-op consultations.
- Records detailed documentation on patient and visitor information and all calls received with procedural updates.
