About The Position

This role is for someone who wants to be part of the action-helping patients feel taken care of and jumping in to support hands-on therapy in a fast-paced clinic. You'll split your time between front office + clinical support, as our Patient Advocate/PT Technician at Utah Physical Therapy in Centerville, Utah. Here, healing is a team effort and you'll be a part of the people who make the experience smooth, supportive, and human from start to finish. If you're someone who loves helping people, solving problems, and keeping things organized while delivering exceptional service, this role puts you right at the heart of patient care.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience in patient advocacy, medical reception, or insurance/authorization or something similar
  • You're comfortable with computers (Word, Excel, EMRs, etc.)
  • You like people (this is important... you'll see a lot of them)
  • You can multitask
  • You've got good energy, & a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • You've worked in healthcare, customer service, or something similar (bonus points)
  • Interested in healthcare? Even better

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients like a human (not a robot reading a script)
  • Schedule appointments and keep the day running on time
  • Help patients understand their insurance without making their eyes glaze over
  • Answer calls, emails, and questions like a pro
  • Be the calm, helpful voice when someone's confused or frustrated
  • Help patients with exercises (yes, you'll be moving too)
  • Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas
  • Keep things clean, organized, and ready for the next patient
  • Work alongside therapists to keep patient flow smooth
  • Basically be the reason the clinic doesn't fall into chaos
