Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months previous clerical experience related to health care insurance billing required.
Responsibilities
- Performing resolution-oriented billing to achieve maximum payment of assigned hospital and physician receivables.
- Completing timely billing on assigned accounts, in a compliant manner.
- Identifying trends and their root causes per OMC policies and procedures.
- Maintaining an appropriate level of productivity, as defined by department guidelines.
- Completing comprehensive account management review on paid and unpaid accounts to ensure payment is made, applied and posted correctly.
- Monitoring and completing all steps necessary to obtain payment and resolution on outstanding balances.
