This is a part-time role for a Patient Account Representative. The position involves managing outstanding claims, reviewing and correcting claim issues, utilizing claims clearing house for electronic resubmission, and verifying correct payment through Explanation of Benefits (EOB). The representative will also complete adjustment forms, manage daily productivity, prorate patient accounts, and report weekly overviews to the Board of Directors (BOD) and participate in AR meetings. Additionally, the role requires gathering and interpreting data to initiate payment collection, assisting financial counselors, and alerting them to benefit eligibility matters that may affect reimbursement.
