About The Position
HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join their team. This role is patient-focused, organized, and service-minded, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Patient Account Representative is crucial to the patient experience, assisting with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, phone calls, and other front-office duties. The position involves providing excellent customer service while accurately registering patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating insurance authorizations, answering phones, and addressing patient questions and needs throughout their care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2 years of experience processing medical insurance claims is preferred.
