About The Position

Review and process insurance claims and follow-up on related correspondence. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to type
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A minimum of 6 months pervious hospital or medical office experience

Responsibilities

• Process paper claims for Commercial Insurance Billing and Queue claims for Electronic Billing
• Process all patient and insurance correspondence and mail returns
• Check insurance eligibility and load insurance
• Answer and resolve or redirector all incoming patient, insurance, and attorney calls
