About The Position

The LPN - Patient Accommodation shall be responsible to ensure the daily operations of the department. This individual will secure bed placement to admit non-emergent patients and to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to ensure the appropriate bed assignment and transfer arrangements are made. The LLPN will promote positive customer service skills while ensuring that all patient demographics and financial information is accurate. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
• Active LPN license required.
• BLS required.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
• Strong team leadership skills.
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proven track record of successful performance.
• Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years recent and broad clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily operations of the department.
• Secure bed placement to admit non-emergent patients.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to ensure the appropriate bed assignment and transfer arrangements are made.

• Ensure that all patient demographics and financial information is accurate.
• Observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
