Patient Access Technician, Day Shift, Outpatient Rehabilitation
About The Position
Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Patient Access Technician to join its Germantown Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The role supports patient enrollment in outpatient programs by accurately capturing clinical and demographic information through electronic and paper methods. It also provides courteous phone and scheduling support, assists therapy team members with hands-on care as directed, and helps maintain department cleanliness and supplies. Additional administrative tasks may include faxing, scanning, and generating reports. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a typical schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the day shift and no weekend requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Preferred 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs by accurately capturing clinical and demographic information electronically and on paper.
- Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language.
- Assist therapy team members with delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed.
- Maintain department cleanliness and supplies by cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies.
- Perform faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
