About The Position

Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital located in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring a Patient Access Supervisor - Full Time Days. The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient and accurate registration, financial clearance, and front-end revenue cycle functions. This role provides leadership, support, and mentorship to staff while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor, Patient Access plays a key role in process improvement, staff development, and enhancing the patient experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One of the following required: CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate), CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative), CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager), CPC (Certified Professional Coder), Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Certified Medical Services Management (CPMSM), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Relevant experience in Patient Access/Registration, Billing/Patient Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management and/or Customer Service - 3 years (Required)
