The Patient Access Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NMHC, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring accurate information collection, and facilitating patient flow through the Northwestern Medicine system. The specialist will also be responsible for verifying insurance, communicating financial responsibilities, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
