About The Position

RAMC is hiring for a Patient Access Specialist to join us at our UW Health Outreach Clinic at the RAMC campus. The Patient Access Specialist arranges for the efficient and orderly registration and scheduling of patients at the UW Health Outreach Clinic. Gathers and verifies patient information and accurately enters required data into the appropriate system. Performs clerical, reception, and registration duties while providing professional and courteous service to patients and visitors.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good organizational Skills
• Good Time Management
• Excellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and style
• Ability to work independently
• Resourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resources
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Continuously sits at a desk
• Frequently stands to perform tasks
• Occasionally push/pull with up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.
