About The Position

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite Patient Access Specialist (PAS). The PAS is responsible for the registration of patients into the Hospital Information System. This includes providing an explanation of hospital policies, and payments for services, and answering routine patient inquiries. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 08:30am - 05:30pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Computer proficiency specifically, in Microsoft Office and online software
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have proper authorization to work in the United States
• Cannot sponsor a Visa and Permanent Residency for this position

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service
