Patient Access Representative-PT
About The Position
The Patient Access Representative (also referred to as the Registration Representative) collects accurate demographic, financial, and basic medical information from patients or their designees in a timely and professional manner. The role works in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care. The position is listed as part-time, with 24–30 hours of work per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus one on-call shift. The work shift is not specified. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. The hospital is certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission, has Magnet® designation for nursing excellence, and provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care. It has more than 1,700 team members and 900 physicians.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience.
