About The Position

This role is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and procedures, gathering and entering patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information, coordinating insurance verification and pre-authorization, and educating patients on pre-service requirements and financial responsibilities. The goal is to ensure optimal patient flow, accurate record-keeping, financial clearance, and a clear, comfortable patient experience.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
  • Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
  • Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
  • Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
