About The Position

Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University. Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization. Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record. Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient. Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Prior medical office and scheduling experience.
Willingness to travel between clinic locations and flexibility to work variable hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM based on coverage needs
