About The Position

IMMEIDATE OPENING FOR PATIENT ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE/MEDICAL RECEPTION. OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST HEALTHCARE NETWORKS IN THE AREA. FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM-430PM. HUDSON, NY (IN OFFICE ONLY). This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, NY.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of medical administration experience
• Experience handling patient check in/insurance verification
• EMR knowledge
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Check people in as they enter the facility
• Verifying Insurance
• Answer incoming calls and directing callers to proper departments
• Collect co-pays from patients
• Assist with putting together reports and memos as needed
• Provide a positive experience for everyone entering facility
• Responding back to messages left by customers
• Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests
• Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100+ multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.
