About The Position

Bitterroot Health is looking for a dedicated Patient Access Representative (PAR) to be the welcoming face of our medical clinics in the stunning Bitterroot Valley. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years in a hospital or physician office preferred
• A strong communicator—both in person and in writing
• Calm under pressure and great at multitasking
• Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent service

Nice To Haves

• medical terminology courses a plus
• Prior experience in scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk, or MA roles a bonus
• Familiarity with registration and billing processes preferred

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance
• Registering patients and managing referrals
• Handling phone calls and point-of-service collections
• Maintaining accurate records and protecting patient privacy
• Supporting financial outcomes and patient satisfaction
