Patient Access Rep. Clinic Ops Float
About The Position
The Patient Access Representative Float travels as needed to any Amberwell clinic location. The role conducts professional patient interviews to obtain demographic, financial, and biographical information. It requires understanding insurance terminology, gathering information to bill payors appropriately, verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits, and collecting statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulations. The representative completes payment transactions using appropriate negotiating techniques to professionally collect amounts owed by patients and guarantors, including referring them to financial resources such as payment plans and lines of credit. The role is responsible for quality performance and service excellence in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
