About The Position

This role is located at Via Christi Clinic, specializing in Electrophysiology Cardiology. The schedule is a full-time, 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through their academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Medical Office Scheduling Experience: Candidates should have a proven background in managing clinic scheduling systems.
Ability to Multitask: High aptitude for managing competing priorities within a fast-paced clinic environment.
Occasional Travel: Willingness and availability to travel between clinic locations as needed for coverage.

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
