About The Position

Baptist Town Center is currently hiring for a PRN Patient Access Rep II to join our Patient Access Services Department at our Baptist Town center location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. Shift details: PRN Various Shifts - must have open availability to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, days, nights, holidays. As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for registering patients accurately and efficiently, utilizing multiple systems and interfaces, and being cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas. You will maintain service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters, contribute to PAS Goals as defined annually, and possess a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO. You will maintain a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members, articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms, and maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
1-2 years Insurance Experience Required
1-2 years Healthcare Experience Required

Responsibilities

Registering patients accurately and efficiently
