About The Position

A Student Patient Access clerk is a health care professional responsible for greeting and checking in patients, greeting visitors, and addressing their needs. Responsibilities also include customer service. The position serves Marshall Medical Centers’ outpatient and inpatient services at its North and South facilities and reports to the Patient Access Coordinator or Patient Access Manager. The role uses customer service, communication, computer data entry, multitasking, internet use, and teamwork skills.
