As a member of the Urgent Care team, you will support patient access and registration by collecting required forms and signatures, verifying insurance, entering accurate contact information, and assisting patients with questions. You will provide clear, compassionate explanations of insurance coverage, deductibles, co-insurance, and financial policies. You will collect patient payments at the time of service and connect patients with financial counseling resources when appropriate. You will collaborate with clinical teams, authorization departments, and financial services to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate billing, and timely issue resolution. You will utilize the electronic health record to complete registrations, update patient information, enter charges, and ensure correct payer-plan matching. You will demonstrate strong communication skills through professional, effective interactions with both internal teams and external patients. You will contribute to a positive, supportive team environment by demonstrating flexibility, respect, and a willingness to help wherever needed. You will engage as an active member of a close-knit Urgent Care team, fostering strong working relationships and a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration. You will maintain a patient-centered mindset while balancing team needs, helping ensure both an excellent patient experience and a cohesive work environment.
