This role is a Patient Access Rep-Rehab position with 40 hours per week, working day shifts from Monday to Thursday, 10:45 am to 7:15 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, located at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED is required.
Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
Proficient keyboarding skills are essential.
Computer experience is a must.
Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask throughout the business day.
Exceptional customer service skills are required.
Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated work experience.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of office support duties.
Coordinate various patient care processes.
Perform other related duties in accordance with established Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures.
