The Patient Access Manager (PAM) is a highly visible regionally field-based position that will provide product access, distribution, logistical, and other non-medical educational assistance to physician offices and patients/caregivers both in person and virtually. The PAM will partner with the patient and their health care providers to educate them on the requirements to gain access to therapy including information specific to prior authorization and appeals. The PAM also will work to maintain relationships with the patients and the office staff to support ongoing compliance with prescribed therapy, troubleshoot access issues that may arise, and provide ongoing educational and therapy support in conjunction with Patient Services, the specialty pharmacy, and other field-based personnel. The PAM will have experience in rare diseases and a passion for helping patients gain access to much needed therapy. This territory covers the West, including Northern California, Los Angeles and Southern California.
