This role is located at the Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center and operates Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Patient Access Manager defines, develops, and improves operational and access workflows and performance standards within areas of Access Services of Ambulatory Care, including the contact center, PAR team, and surgical services. This role involves managing employees, ensuring staff competency through training and quality assurance, and fostering a positive patient experience. The manager is responsible for team performance, professional growth of direct reports, and coordinating with organizational stakeholders to facilitate quality patient care and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role handles employee relations issues, payroll, PTO, and leave records, and ensures compliance with organizational and HIPAA guidelines, privacy practices, patient confidentiality, and patient rights. The Patient Access Manager also supports performance improvement goals, departmental initiatives, and practices financial and resource stewardship, while engaging in strong communication and acting as a team player.
