About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to join its team in Richmond, Kentucky. Patient Access Coordinators contribute to the success of the revenue cycle by completing thorough admissions for inpatient and outpatient visits. They collect accurate information, protect its confidentiality, and ensure patients understand their rights under HIPAA regulations and company policy. The role also involves maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements for access services. Insurance eligibility verification, compliance, point-of-service estimates, and collections are part of the position. Exemplary customer service skills and extensive insurance experience or training are important to success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must type 40–45 words per minute.
