About The Position

Serves as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts have valid insurance coverage and current demographic and clinical data. Calculates patients’ financial responsibility, presents financial options and requirements, and processes payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgements on required forms and notices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, a clinical role, or related clerical, accounting, finance, or retail work; alternatively, 3 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Epic experience.
• Certification with the Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification.
