Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of post-secondary education in business, administrative support, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in patient registration, scheduling, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or customer service.
Prior healthcare experience in a clinic, hospital, or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
Register and check in patients accurately and efficiently.
Gather and verify insurance, demographic, and financial information needed for billing and patient accounts.
Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve registration and account issues.
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a seamless experience.
Maintain accuracy while handling confidential patient information and navigating healthcare systems.
