This position is responsible for coordinating the Adult Education Instruction component of Workforce IET programs. This includes providing academic remediation in reading and math skills, as well as basic soft skills instruction to support student integration of academic and technical skills, and student success in Workforce IET and Perkins eligible CTE pathways. The role involves tracking Industry Based Credentials, aligning pathways for initiatives, and reporting to the Data Analyst. It also includes scheduling pre- and post-assessments, administering the TABE 13/14 test, and updating the Student Information System (SIS) with student data. The coordinator will create online user accounts for students needing remediation, monitor distance learning hours, and solicit student feedback to identify barriers to success. Additionally, the position involves planning lessons and curriculum, scheduling and delivering community education workshops, and supporting outreach, recruitment, retention, and completion efforts for special populations and CTE students. This role requires travel to all LDCC campuses regularly.
