About The Position

Pathlink is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP) to join the Department of Pathology at Pathlink at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY. This per diem opportunity is ideal for a pathologist seeking a flexible schedule while practicing in a collaborative, hospital-based environment. Coverage is provided for vacations, sick leave, and other scheduled absences.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Examine, interpret, and diagnose surgical pathology and cytology specimens.
• Interpret clinical laboratory findings and provide pathology consultations.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support outstanding patient care.
• Prepare accurate and timely pathology reports.
• Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and laboratory accreditation standards.
