About The Position

Pathology Services has opened a brand new state-of-the art medical laboratory in Omaha and this is a rare opportunity to be part of a brand-new facility backed by a trusted laboratory with nearly 60 years of laboratory excellence. This role is open to both General and Fellowship-trained, US Board Eligible or Certified Pathologists. The position offers the unique opportunity to be the first in Nebraska to utilize the Hologic Genius™ Digital Diagnostics System for cytology, and is one of only 20 systems in the entire country. The role is based in a brand new, purpose-built facility with the latest technology and equipment, offering diverse casework across anatomic and clinical pathology including surgical pathology, cytopathology, frozen sections, consults, and lab directorship opportunities. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Completion of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• AP/CP board certified or board eligible
• Licensure in the state of Nebraska (can be obtained after acceptance of offer)
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services across anatomic and clinical pathology, including: Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, Frozen sections, Consultations, Lab Directorship
• Collaborate with physicians, laboratory professionals, and administrative teams
• Participate in laboratory quality programs, peer review, and case consultations
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of results
