Junior and Mid-Level Patent Litigation Associate
About The Position
Fenwick & West is seeking junior and mid-level associates for its high tech and life sciences patent litigation practices. The firm has a national reputation, representing clients ranging from startups to established companies in the technology and life sciences industries. The group handles patent litigation in federal courts across the United States and parallel post-grant proceedings at the Patent Office. Attorneys are expected to possess strong technical and scientific expertise, understand client business needs, and develop innovative strategies for successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Between one to six years of patent litigation experience.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Must be barred in the state of the office they are submitting their application for or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
- Completed online application.
- Included a writing sample, cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
Nice To Haves
- Degrees or industry experience in high tech or life sciences fields are preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Represent patent holders and alleged infringers in federal jurisdictions.
