Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • TABC and Texas Food Handler Certification
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Professional demeanor
  • Previous Banquet experience in a similar setting is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of baking operations.
  • Assist in managing needed supplies and inventory levels.
  • Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
  • Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
  • Help conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
  • Ensure the high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are always maintained throughout the kitchen areas.
  • Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
