About The Position

The Hilton Atlanta is seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join their culinary team! The hotel showcases over 130k square footage of event space along with four unique restaurants and bars, featuring an award winning European fine dining experience and an island-inspired hideaway. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a pastry kitchen within a hotel setting. Seeking someone with a high volume banquet background and scratch baking experience.

Requirements

• High volume banquet background
• Scratch baking experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
• Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
• Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
• Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
