About The Position

Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our culinary team within our Food & Beverage department. This is a role for someone with a passion for baking and dessert craft, an eye for detail, and a love for creating beautiful, delicious finishes to every meal. Our ideal candidate is creative, precise, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality pastries and desserts for our members and guests.

Requirements

  • Strong baking fundamentals and attention to detail
  • Creativity balanced with consistency and precision
  • Ability to manage multiple items and timelines during production
  • Professional, accountable, and committed to high standards
  • Prior pastry or baking experience in a professional kitchen preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a hot, high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and Club standards
  • Plate and present desserts with consistency and attention to detail
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately for baking and pastry production
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of pastry ingredients and finished products
  • Set up, maintain, and break down your station before and after each shift
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
  • Assist with seasonal menu items, special event desserts, and banquet production as needed
