About The Position

We are looking for an experienced line cook, pastry chef, or prep cook to plate a variety of desserts and pastries. Prep work is light and very teachable over time. Requirements

  • Experience as a line cook, pastry cook, or prep cook with plating knowledge
  • Great attention to detail, creativity with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • One year of culinary knowledge, technical abilities to create and decorate
  • Knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, cooking, and baking techniques
  • Communicating, coordinating, and developing with Executive chefs and supervisors
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work holiday shifts
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plating pastries during regular service hours using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
  • Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Keep a good attitude and work well on a small team of other like-minded professionals.
