About The Position

We are looking for a Baker / Pastry Cook! This position is for a commissary-style kitchen that provides pastries and desserts for several of the Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group spaces. The role offers flexible scheduling with the option of doing multiple shift times.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic kitchen math
  • Ability to operate a digital scale, using grams, ounces, and pounds
  • Can work in a standing position for 8-9 hours
  • Can bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Can work well in a team environment
  • Is dependable and reliable
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Has an understanding of food safety and sanitation, including handling, storage, and best hygiene practices

  • Prior pastry/baking experience
