About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a talented Pastry Chef who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection of over 40 fresh-baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins made with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven track record of demonstrating abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to details.
• Ability to lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work through change and be flexible.
• Must be an early bird as all Pastry Chef shifts start early.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience with experience in working quickly to decorate amazing pastries.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.
