Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
At least 2 years of bakery experience
Enrolled in or completed at least the first year of the Baking Apprenticeship Program
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A genuine passion for quality, customers, and great food
Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Preparing cakes, cookies, pies, danishes, tarts, and other delicious baked goods
Measuring ingredients and preparing doughs, fillings, icings, and toppings
Operating mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment
Decorating pastries and maintaining beautiful displays
Following recipes, production standards, and food safety procedures
Maintaining accurate inventory and production records
Keeping the bakery clean, organized, and welcoming
Providing friendly service and answering customer questions
Sharing ideas about new products and market trends
Working closely with the bakery team to meet daily production deadline.
