About The Position

This is a Spiritual Care Pastoral Care Intern position in Tulsa, OK. The CPE Resident maintains a minimum of 8-hour-per-day responsibility to the training program each Monday-Friday during the educational year, September through May. The role involves participating in didactic seminars, case presentation, pastor’s support group, supervisory conference, and direct ministry to patients, families, and staff in assigned areas. Additionally, the CPE Resident is responsible to participate in the in-house, twenty-four-hour-a-day on-call rotation as a duty chaplain. The CPE Resident is to engage in CPE training in a manner that increases their ministry formation, and pastoral identity and skills. Learning and ministry is done in an age-appropriate manner with sensitivity to gender, culture, and faith orientation.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree.
Faith group affiliation.

Responsibilities

Provide direct ministry to patients, families, and staff in assigned areas.
