About The Position

Support the full-time staff of the Office of Spiritual Development by completing professional administrative tasks to enhance and fulfill the department outcomes.

Requirements

  • Computer knowledge, including MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Works well independently and as a team
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
  • Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer skills, especially Microsoft office; ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.

  • Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
  • Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.
  • Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.

Responsibilities

  • Positive and friendly attitude to those visiting LPCC.
  • Ability to answer phone calls and properly direct calls or questions to the correct staff member.
  • Assist in greeting and assisting guests of LPCC.
  • Support LPCC team/supervisor with daily tasks as needed.
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • Assist with swiping student leaders during required class times, ensuring accurate attendance.
  • Works effectively as a team member, embracing & fostering LU’s mission.
