About The Position

Pathway Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Pastor to lead their congregation. This role involves hands-on leadership, pulpit ministry, and everyday church administration. The Pastor will be responsible for delivering biblically sound, gospel-centered sermons aligned with historic Baptist doctrine, engaging in relational shepherding through visits and prayer, and leading or equipping volunteers for discipleship and small groups. The position also includes working with Deacons and church committees on administrative tasks and budget management, and administering the ordinances of Believer's Baptism and the Lord's Supper, as well as conducting weddings and funerals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly, biblically sound, gospel-centered sermons that align with historic Baptist doctrine.
• Engage in relational shepherding, including home visits, hospital visitations, and personal prayer with members.
• Lead or equip volunteers to run Sunday school, Bible studies, and prayer meetings.
• Work with Deacons and church committees to oversee administrative tasks and budget management.
• Administer the scriptural ordinances of Believer's Baptism and the Lord's supper.
• Conduct weddings and funerals.
