About The Position
Danforth Community Chapel is seeking a full-time Pastor to lead their congregation in Bruno, MN. The church is a non-denominational, elder board-led congregation with a history of mission involvement and a commitment to spiritual growth. The Pastor will be responsible for preaching expository, Christ-centered sermons, providing pastoral care, and engaging in community outreach. The church typically sees 40-70 attendees on Sunday mornings and is involved in local Bible Camp Ministry and a Christian School.
Requirements
- Prior ministry experience preferred, but recent seminary graduates should apply.
- Education of a minimum bachelor’s degree in Bible/Theology; a Master’s degree from an accredited seminary preferred.
- Spiritual Gifts: Preaching, teaching, shepherding, leadership.
Responsibilities
- Preaching weekly expository sermons on Sunday mornings.
- Living the weekly sermons that are preached and exampling godliness as Paul instructed Timothy to do.
- Coordinate other church gatherings included Sunday Night Prayer Meetings and mid-week Bible Study.
- Pastoral care for members, counseling, discipleship, prayer, funerals, weddings, other as God provides opportunity.
- Visitation and Community Outreach for growth and obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples.
