About The Position

Twin City Bible Baptist Church (TCBBC) is seeking to fill a full-time position for a Lead Pastor to provide pastoral leadership for our church. TCBBC is a Bible Church committed to the inerrancy of Scripture from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21. The church believes in the Reformer’s five Solos: According to Scripture alone, In Christ alone, Through faith alone, Saved by grace alone, For the Glory of God alone. They are Dispensational in their approach to the exegesis of Scripture, believing the first eleven chapters of Genesis are literal, and teach a pre-tribulation rapture and a literal 1,000-year reign of Christ on earth. The church seeks someone who holds to these tenants of Bible interpretation and preaching, is committed to an expository approach to preaching and teaching, and has a passion to preach and teach God’s Word with the objective of evangelizing the lost and equipping the Saints for the work of ministry. Additionally, the church seeks someone that will pursue God in prayer and encourage the congregation to do likewise so that the church may flourish in Christian living.

Requirements

Holds to the tenants of Bible interpretation and preaching as outlined in the church's statement of faith.
Committed to an expository approach to preaching and teaching.
Passion to preach and teach God’s Word.
Belief in the Reformer’s five Solos.
Belief in the inerrancy of Scripture from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.
Belief that the first eleven chapters of Genesis are literal.
Belief in a pre-tribulation rapture.
Belief in a literal 1,000-year reign of Christ on earth.
Dispensational approach to the exegesis of Scripture.

Responsibilities

Provide pastoral leadership for the church.
Preach and teach God’s Word with an objective of evangelizing the lost and equipping the Saints for the work of ministry.
Pursue God in prayer and encourage the congregation to do likewise.
