Requirements
- Experience in the ingredient, beverage or food processing industry.
- Equipment operating experience.
- Good reading, writing and verbal skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift operating skills.
Responsibilities
- Operates pasteurizer and other processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Produces food products meeting all federal, state and customer requirements, regulations, and specifications.
- Follows established company policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE.
- Displays a positive attitude in a team environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
- Ability to maximize equipment operation.
- Ability to understand process flows.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to document activities on operator forms.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures.
- Ability to work safely around equipment.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment.
